I don’t think there is any Star Wars fan out there that isn’t happy with the constant release of new Disney Star Wars shows. If you haven’t gotten around to watching the “Obi-Wan Kenobi” Disney+ mini series, the show explores Obi-Wan’s life after the events of “Revenge of The Sith”, where the Jedi Master contends with the consequences of his greatest defeat — the downfall and corruption of his one-time friend and apprentice, Anakin Skywalker, who turned to the dark side as evil Sith Lord Darth Vader. There is so much nostalgia and great Star Wars moments packed into the 6 episode series that makes it a must watch for any Star Wars fan.
“Obi-Wan Kenobi” is an admirable and nostalgic filled 8.6 out of 10 and almost perfectly threads the needle between ‘Revenge of the Sith’ and ‘A New Hope’. While some of the overall story and characters were underwhelming and not needed, Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen are nearly flawless in their roles reclaiming the beloved Star Wars characters. Much like the other Disney Star Wars shows, “Obi-Wan Kenobi” is a real triumph. There’s little to hate and so much to love. At the very least, Disney is going crazy with their production of their Star Wars content and should be congratulated for such accomplishments. If you’re a Star Wars fan, it’s a MUST WATCH. Although I think both seasons of “The Mandalorian” are better, it’s still an awesome addition to the Star Wars saga, AND needs to be watched.
