Who knew Paul Rudd and Will Ferrell were the TV duo we needed to end 2021? Apple TV has been on an absolute tear this year and flexed their genius with their recent mini-series, “The Shrink Next Door.” Will Ferrell and Paul Rudd were TREMENDOUS in their performances and shined in these roles. While these weren’t their typical roles or their typical genre, they both gave A+ acting performances and brought this show to life. 

“The Shrink Next Door” is an unsettling 8.9 out of 10. You never really know what you’ll get when a show or movie says it’s “based on a true story,” but “The Shrink Next Door” delivered on that front. It was historically accurate (which is always a huge plus) and Paul Rudd/Will Ferrell even looked identical to their real world characters. The entire story is unsettling, frustrating, and anxiety-inducing. Both Paul Rudd and Will Ferrell give perfect performances and make this one of Apple TV’s BEST shows to date. If you have Apple TV, this needs to be the #1 show on your watch list.
