Underground rapper Autumn!, also known as TwinUzis when he’s producing, is a native of Crowley, Louisiana who is quickly ascending through the overcrowded rap game. Back when he was exclusively known as TwinUzi’s, Autumn! was a producer for fellow upcoming Louisiana rapper Summrs back when the two linked over Instagram in 2016. Autumn! and Summrs would quickly bond over being from Louisiana without sharing the typical “NBA Youngboy sound”, something Summrs would call “stale and overplayed” during an Instagram live. In an interview with DotComNirvan, Autumn! states that he one day decided to start rapping simply “to hear what I sounded like on my beats.” His earlier production was heavily influenced by Pluggnb type beats, a sound that reached its zenith around 2018 while still maintaining a large cult following today.
