Ashtin Larold is a 21 year old rapper and singer from New Jersey. In the three years since he started pursuing music full time, he has gathered roughly 145,000 fans on YouTube, and thousands across other platforms. He was awarded the silver play button from YouTube for this achievement. His break out video was a rap battle which currently has around 19 million views. With his other videos counted, Ashtin has over 23 million views on his channel.
His debut mixtape “Kids at Play’, a 5 track tape, garnered over half a million plays across markets such as soundcloud, youtube, and spotify since it was released in 2016. The first single “GHOSTS’ off of his studio album has more than 300,000 streams on Spotify alone, with other platforms bringing it to over half a million. He recorded his next project “Jersey Devil” in the historic Milkboy Studio, with credits such as Kanye West, Justin Timberlake, Miley Cyrus, Michael Jackson and more. His full studio album can be found on Spotify, itunes, and most other major platforms, and has seen consistent sales since it’s release.
He has collaborated with artists like comedian DeShawn Raw AKA ‘Supa Hot Fire”, Cam Meekins, Sir Sitzo, and is working on a collaboration with HiRez. He has been featured on several notable facebook accounts, most notably the account run by band LMFAO. He was invited to the Team Backpack cypher Mission Underground 2016, where he performed in front of hundreds of people. He has performed in Philly, Manhattan, Brooklyn, and New jersey. He placed in the top 15 entries for the 2017 One Take Cypher contest, which had thousands of entries.
He accomplished all of these things without any management, agent, paid promotion, or label backing. His fan base and engagement has been totally organic, and this has given him a core group of diehard fans which spans the globe. He has since gone on to successfully produce, market and sell his own merchandise, as well as develop his own website. He is currently working on new music, videos, and hoping to be able to tour soon.
